Dana Skaf Honored for Excellence in Client Relations

Ms. Skaf has set herself apart through her impressive knowledge of the health care industry 

SCHWENKSVILLE, PA, December 9, 2015, Dana Skaf, Senior Vice President of Professional Services and Client Relations for Core Solutions, Inc., was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Branding. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Ms. Skaf has 16 years of professional experience, having recently become a senior vice president of professional services and client relations for Core Solutions, Inc. Throughout her career, she has come to specialize in a broad spectrum of disciplines, including revenue cycle management, AR collections, project management, executive management, operational management, and health care-related concepts including HIPAA compliance, ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT, HCPC codes, revenue industry coding, credentialing, HMO/PPO, managed care and Medicare/Medicaid insurance billing/benefits/reimbursement, creating and developing management reports, contracts and acquisitions.

Each day, Ms. Skaf is responsible for providing customer support, as well as workflow optimization and assessment. She is also responsible for negotiating contracts, performing compliance audits and measuring productivity metrics. As part of her duties in overseeing all company operations, Ms. Skaf works diligently to develop repeatable methods, processes, and tools that support implementations, and she oversees the development of all implementation project plans, including timelines to meet the go-live dates agreed upon between core solutions and the client organization. She also participates actively in business development and sales in developing proposals, and she is skilled at developing project approaches and solutions. Looking back, Ms. Skaf attributes her success to her hard work, knowledge of the industry, and education. She started out in the financial end of the health care sector as a collector and billing manager and progressed naturally from there.

Ms. Skaf received an MBA in Health Care Management from Philadelphia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from La Salle University. In addition to her degrees, she is EPM and EHR NextGen Certified, and EAS, SCT and ISC NextGen Certified. She is also a certified yoga teacher and a member of HFMA. In recognition of her hard work and dedication, Ms. Skaf has been presented with a certificate of achievement for academic excellence from President Bill Clinton and the Presidential Academics Awards Program. In years to come, Ms. Skaf hopes to experience continued growth and success in her career, while partnering with flexible organizations and executive management teams.
