 DURHAM, NC, July 30, 2013, Mary Jo Bulbrook, Ed.D., has been recognized by Worldwide Who’s Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in practicing, teaching and consulting with Energy Medicine and Wellness applied to individuals, families, animals and organizations.

Understanding the importance of a strong educational foundation, Mary Jo Bulbrook achieved a Doctor of Education in college teaching at North Texas State University in 1973, a Master of Education at Xavier University 1967, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at College of Mount St. Joseph 1966. Upon completion of her education, Dr. Bulbrook embarked on a 40 year career in the worldwide practice and teaching of nursing, psychotherapy, family therapy and then to Energy Medicine and Wellness.

In 1996, Dr. Bulbrook founded Energy Medicine Partnerships (EMP), Incorporated to continue the work under a new framework emphasizing partnership relationship in the countries EMP serves. EMP training includes Energy Medicine, Healing Touch, Energy Psychology, and Touch For Health to clients on an international scale. As President of the company, Dr. Bulbrook connects with other world wide instructors and practitioners offering them updates in new theory, practices and teaching advances. EMP also offers spiritual tours in various countries, such as Canada, Peru, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa for special events. Ever eager to empower each client, whether personal, professional, or familial, she leads them to a greater awareness of who they are and what they can contribute.

Dr. Bulbrook draws on her experience as a university professor, psychotherapist, spiritual intuitive and clinical specialist in psychiatric mental health nursing, when teaching and educating clients or providing consultation.

Proficient in leadership skills and organization, Dr. Bulbrook updates new instructors, manages web presence, and creates teaching materials for all programs offered through Energy Medicine Partnerships, Incorporated. A pioneer in energy medicine, she is a medical / spiritual intuitive, Certified Energy Medicine Practitioner, Specialist, and Instructor, and a master teacher. Dr. Bulbrook also developed and founded TYLEM™ (Transform Your Life through Energy Medicine), a professional certification

program for practitioners, specialists and instructors. With decades of experience in the practice and teaching of Therapeutic Touch, Healing Touch, Touch for Health and Energy Psychology, Dr. Bulbrook plans to expand and stabilize the future of her company through networking, partnerships, consulting, and branding.

Currently Dr. Bulbrook is the director of complementary and alternative medicine at Akamai University. She is chairperson of Academic Council, and board member. Other leadership work includes a founding board member of Healing Touch International, past board member of the Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology, and past board member for Touch for Health Kinesiology Association. Dr. Bulbrook is charitably involved with Newman Catholic Student Center Parish at University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill and with other humanitarian projects. Away from the demands of her work, she enjoys family outings with her children and grandchildren, gardening and working with animals.
